On sunny days, the panels recharge the battery before lunch; on cloudy days, I use the reserve more carefully.

I did have one minor troubleshooting moment. During the first heat wave, the battery stopped discharging at 72% for several hours. The monitoring app showed a temperature warning, so I checked the ventilation clearance and found a cardboard box leaning against the inverter intake. I moved it, restarted the system, and everything returned to normal. That small lesson made me take airflow seriously; a home energy storage system is not completely “fit and forget.”
