I set a 20% reserve so the battery is not completely drained, and I raise that reserve before storms when an outage seems possible. During one short outage, the transfer was fast enough that the router and refrigerator stayed running. A few lights flickered, but nothing had to be reset.

My only real annoyance was a communication fault after a firmware update. The battery appeared offline in the monitoring app even though it was charging normally. Restarting the inverter fixed it, although I spent an unnecessary evening checking cables.

I chose LiFePO4 because I wanted safer chemistry and a long cycle life.
