One evening the battery stopped discharging at 18 percent, even though the app showed plenty of stored energy. I checked the backup reserve setting and discovered I had accidentally raised it from 15 to 20 percent while exploring the menus. Lowering that threshold fixed everything immediately. No dramatic restart, no technician visit—just a setting I had overlooked.
Now I check the app each morning, rather than obsessively refreshing it. My lesson is that storage works best when configured around household habits, not maximum independence. I use the grid sometimes, and it feels like a sensible compromise.
