2 years into living with our solar battery, and I can honestly say the peak-hour savings are still the most rewarding part. We’re in a region with really aggressive time-of-use electricity rates, so even though our panels generate plenty of power during the day, that evening charge can still add up. Initially, I was a bit worried about the complexity, but the setup was surprisingly straightforward.
