Hi Guys,
I am running 2 x RN150 BMS on a Victron system
I am having some unusual issues when the battery reaches 100% with the CHG_MOS is flapping ON and OFF causing the battery to start discharging.
Would someone at your support team be able to help out to verify settings? (attached)
BMS:
Pack SN: JLD-BMS-S16A150
SW Log: JLD-BMS-S16A150-4P4L-V0.00.05_02 G 6246 Mar 28 202318:42:52
Inverter Details:
Victron MultiPlus II 48/5000/70
Venus OS running Raspberry PI
I also assume this issue is causing the pack balancer to turn off when it should be still balancing

Yes, CHG-MOS will be turned off when the battery is full.
According to your settings, turn off condition is:
1. Battery voltage = 55.2V
2. Charge current < 1000mA

I use DVCC and Limit Voltage to 54,4V. Works fine. No flapping an battery reaches 100% SOC.

Here is a copy of the DVCC, Battery Monitor and CVL-CCL-DCL settings (Currently 100% SOC)
Shouldn't the charge voltage on the Victron (and any pv chargers) be using the CVL (when Battery monitor set to BATT) rather than the Charge voltage in the DVCC?

My apologies, The battery can still be in in a scheduled charge and the CHG_MOS flaps on and off as well as Charger Plugin and Power supply
You can see the issue in the MP4 file in the ZIP attachment
Perhaps I am expecting the the charger voltage to remain at 55.2 to allow time to balance? (similar to a absorption mode (I know LiFePo do not technically require absorption) )
However, I am not seeing a way to configure that....

I guess there is a 54V charge limit somewhere.
